About Us

Who we are Tham Dee CIC (Community Interest Company) is a community benefit social enterprise based in the UK. Our work focuses on supporting Thai-speaking women and families, particularly those affected by domestic abuse or other vulnerabilities that put their safety, wellbeing or independence at risk.

Our mission

To help Thai-speaking survivors and families live safely, independently and with dignity by providing practical support, emotional care, and trusted signposting to specialist services.

Who we support

We primarily support:
• Thai-speaking survivors of domestic abuse
• Individuals experiencing exploitation, housing insecurity or financial hardship
• Families needing wellbeing, integration and community support

How we work

Our approach is trauma-informed and rooted in safeguarding, confidentiality and respect. We work collaboratively with refuges, local authorities, healthcare providers and specialist organisations to ensure clients receive the right help at the right time.

Our status

We are a Community Interest Company. Our income and assets are used to deliver community benefit in line with the CIC asset lock.

Regulated advice statement

We do not provide regulated legal or immigration advice. We provide information, emotional support, practical assistance and signposting to appropriately qualified and regulated professionals.

SERVICES

What we do

We provide culturally sensitive support for Thai-speaking individuals and families across the UK.

Our services include:

1. Domestic abuse support Emotional support, safety planning, help to access refuges and specialist domestic abuse services.

2. Housing and local authority support Support to understand housing options, complete relevant forms, attend appointments and access advocacy pathways.

3. Welfare and essential living support Information and support with benefits-related processes, crisis support, and referrals to food, emergency and community resources.

4. Health and wellbeing Signposting to GPs, mental health services, counselling and community wellbeing groups.

5. Integration and community connection Language and cultural support, community outreach, workshops and peer support opportunities.

6. Immigration-related information and signposting We can help clients understand routes in general terms and signpost to regulated advisers.

We are not currently registered with the Immigration Advice Authority and therefore do not provide regulated immigration advice.

Safeguarding and confidentiality We take safeguarding seriously. Where there is a risk of harm to a child or adult at risk, we may share information with relevant authorities in line with our safeguarding and data protection duties.
